The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Project Architect / Project Manager who can independently lead projects from design development through permitting and construction.
This is a hands‑on role combining project management with architectural production. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly in Archicad, coordinating consultants, communicating with clients and contractors, managing schedules and priorities, and keeping projects moving efficiently.
Responsibilties- Lead projects through design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration
- Develop and coordinate architectural drawing sets in Archicad
- Coordinate structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and other consultants
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, and internal time budgets
- Review drawings for technical accuracy, coordination, and design intent
- Communicate directly with clients, contractors, consultants, and permitting agencies
- Research and apply applicable building codes and local jurisdictional requirements
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs during construction
- Identify coordination issues and proactively move projects toward resolution
- Professional degree in Architecture
- 5+ years of relevant architectural experience
- Strong construction documentation and project coordination experience
- Archicad proficiency strongly preferred
- Experience independently managing architectural projects
- Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, and construction
- Experience coordinating consultants and working with contractors
- Southwest Florida experience and familiarity with local codes, permitting processes, and jurisdictions strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the Florida Building Code, coastal/flood-zone requirements, and residential construction practices is a plus
- Architectural licensure preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
This is a full-time position based in Naples, Florida, with a hybrid work arrangement. Regular in-person collaboration, client and consultant meetings, and project site visits are an important part of the role.
