We are currently searching for an Assistant Architectural Associate with 0-3+ years of experience to work on-site in our Sarasota office on the Commercial Team. Expected salary range to be commensurate with experience.

About

The Role

Produce design deliverables and Revit project documentation under the direction of senior team members. Aid drafting and architectural documentation team under the direction of senior team members.

EXPECTATIONS:
  • A degree in Architecture, Design, or related discipline
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, graphic design, and 3D modeling/visualization software
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills, resourceful, attention to detail, motivated to learn
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
  • Preparing for ARE exams
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist throughout the design process under routine guidance; contribute to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design.
  • Support preparation of creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions while participating as an integral member of the design team.
  • Provide design support under supervision for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Perform product research and assist team with material selections.
  • Assist in preparing client presentation materials using design application skills and creative ideas.
  • Use a creative approach to perform tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organized, timely, and consistent manner.
  • Selfcheck work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and compile data for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual.
  • Provide support to tasks within project teams (may focus on individual detailed tasks) and studio activities.
  • Assist with coordination among team members and consultants
  • Participate in design reviews, charrettes, and pinups.
  • Open communication within team and with designated team leader.
