About Retina Health Center: Retina Health Center offers the most progressive ophthalmology services available. With offices in Fort Myers and Naples, Florida, we provide superior care in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of eye conditions, including macular degeneration, retinal tears, and other retinal diseases. The center has been serving Southwest Florida patients since 2002.

Job Summary: Retina Health Center is looking for ophthalmology professionals and individuals seeking a career change to join our growing team. An Ophthalmic Assistant works with ophthalmologists to provide patient care by performing many clinical functions. Assistants help care for patients by taking histories, performing procedures and tests, and preparing patients for the doctor. Their work provides ophthalmologists with important information to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Competencies:

• Excellent customer service skills are a must!
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support a busy ophthalmic retina practice
• Assist with patient procedures
• Perform ophthalmic tasks and diagnostic testing

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience in healthcare and/or customer service
• Team player with strong organizational skills, able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full‑time position located in [Naples, Fl]
• Travel to both locations as necessary
