Position Summary
Adjunct Teaching – Teacher Education (El Ed 435). The position will begin September1, 2026.

- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in elementary education, early childhood education, or a related field; must be completed by the start date. - Preferred:
Master’s degree. - Experience:
Minimum 2 years as a licensed K‑12 public‑school classroom teacher with demonstrated expertise in elementary and/or early‑childhood education. - Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Will be required to teach on‑campus daytime classes (8am–4pm) and meet the university’s dress and conduct standards.
- Primary instructor for the Teaching Writing in Grades
K‑6 course (El Ed
435) within the elementary education program.
