Degree and Experience Requirements
  • Required:

    Bachelor’s degree in elementary education, early childhood education, or a related field; must be completed by the start date.
  • Preferred:

    Master’s degree.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 2 years as a licensed K‑12 public‑school classroom teacher with demonstrated expertise in elementary and/or early‑childhood education.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Will be required to teach on‑campus daytime classes (8am–4pm) and meet the university’s dress and conduct standards.
Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Primary instructor for the Teaching Writing in Grades

    K‑6 course (El Ed
    435) within the elementary education program.
