FAMILY SERVICE WORKER, HEAD START BASIC Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)
- Associate degree or higher required, preferably in human or social services.
- Understanding of group/team work and collaborative skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Ability to work with limited direct supervision and be self-motivated with focus on daily tasks.
- Ability to interview potential families to complete registration forms and determine program eligibility with accuracy and confidentiality of all information.
- Ability to use standard office equipment (telephone, computer, copier, calculator).
- Ability to use vision and hearing screening devices.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., email, Child Plus, shared calendars).

Salary:
Assistant - Range EF
FTE: 0.40 (Corkscrew), 0.20 (Sabal Palm), 0.40 (Palmetto)
Special NotesRole is full-time with 2 days a week at Corkscrew Elementary, 2 days a week at Palmetto Elementary, and 1 day at Sabal Palm.
