Overview
Community School of Naples (CSN) is currently seeking a talented, collaborative, and dynamic Associate Dean of College Counseling to join a cohesive department of 4 committed professionals.
ResponsibilitiesAssociate Dean of College Counseling guides all aspects of the college search and application process, including meeting individually with students and parents and writing letters of recommendation on their behalf.
This role works closely with the Upper School faculty and College Counseling team to meet the needs of approximately 400 students in grades 9-12.
CSN is one of the top independent schools in southwest Florida and maintains a PK3–12 enrollment of over 1,000 students. CSN has a high retention rate with many dedicated teachers here for longer than 10 years; some for more than 30. Our students track higher than all other southwest Florida schools in test scores, extracurricular activities, and college acceptances. The school’s beautiful 77‑acre campus features lush landscaping, ponds, and an open atmosphere.
Compensation& Benefits
This appointment is for the 2026-27 academic year, paid on an annual salary commensurate with experience, degree attainment, and qualifications.

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a college admissions office or high school college counseling office is required.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet important deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, high‑stakes environment.
- Commitment to participating in professional organizations, conferences, and college visits.
- Lift / carry up to 15 pounds at times.
- Sit at a desk for the duration of the shift while working on the computer.
- Periodically walk short distances from building to building being exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
- Withstand a moderate noise level in the work environment.
- Detect and exchange accurate information.
- Have close visual acuity to perform essential functions of the job.
