Role Description The PreK Teacher will design and deliver developmentally appropriate, Christ-centered instruction that supports the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth of young children. This full-time, on-site role in Naples, FL includes planning daily lessons and learning activities, immersing the curriculum in biblical truth, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and orderly classroom environment. The teacher will observe and assess student progress, provide regular communication to parents, and collaborate with colleagues and administration to support each child’s learning outcomes.
Responsibilities also include preparing instructional materials, managing classroom routines, participating in school events and professional development, and supporting the broader school community as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in education and teaching, with experience in early childhood and/or elementary settings.
- Proficiency in age-appropriate lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
- Effective communication skills for engaging young children, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with parents.
- Ability to disciple and support students in spiritual, academic, and social-emotional development.
- Commitment to living out biblical truth and a willingness to model Christian character and conduct.
- Relevant degree in education, early childhood education, or a related field; teaching certification or eligibility is preferred.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills, organizational abilities, and flexibility in a dynamic school environment.
- Openness to ongoing professional development and collaboration within a small, mission-driven school community.
