Overview
The OPS Education and Training Specialist (Field Trip Specialist) develops and delivers educational and interpretive programs at the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve Environmental Learning Center in Naples, Florida. The role coordinates field trips for K-12 students, collaborates with staff to design programs for various audiences, and supports emergency operations as needed.
Qualifications- At least 1 year of verifiable related experience educating K-12 students in an outdoor education setting
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective customer service skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, teachers, students and the public
