The GE Vernova Power Transmission business area is part of a global network focused on advanced solutions for the efficient transmission of electrical energy. This business area offers a variety of products, such as high-voltage transformers and switch gear, which ensure the reliable operation of power grids.

The company provides comprehensive services, including grid modernization, smart grid technologies, digital substations, and maintenance services. These solutions improve the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of power transmission systems, addressing the growing demands of energy providers and the integration of renewable energy sources into the grid.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Independently performing service work on transformers and/or on AIS & GIS switch gear
• Montage, commissioning, inspections, and maintenance work as well as troubleshooting
• Repairs and spare parts manufacturing on customer sites and/or in the service workshop
• Disassembling and assembling of components
• Performing follow-up work and modifications
• Proper and appropriate handling of tools, measuring instruments, and fixtures
• Creation of site documentation and test reports according to templates
• Consistent implementation of UVV, EHS guidelines, manufacturing, work instructions, and current quality regulations
• Consistent adherence to GE Vernova's code of ethics

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training as an electrical technician according to DIN-VDE 0105 (e.g., electrician, electronics technician, industrial mechatronician, or master/technician)
• Very good communication and team skills
• Self-motivation, determination, and flexibility
• Interest in personal and professional development
• Strong sense of safety, quality, and responsibility
• Willingness to travel within Germany and abroad
• Desirable experience in customer service
• Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel)
• Driving license class B
• Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
