Robotics Application Specialist
Identification of relevant robotics application cases at the location (e.g., production, warehouse, etc.) Tasks:
Identification of relevant robotics application cases at the location (e.g., production, warehouse, etc.) Ensuring that implemented solutions meet operational requirements and increase productivity Management of robotics and automation projects from conception to commissioning Liaison between: specialist departments (production, engineering, supply chain, etc.) & central robotics/AI/IT/digital teams Translation of specialist requirements into technical requirements and vice versa Supplier management:
Support of suppliers from the offer phase to project realization and acceptance. Ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards Ensuring compliance with: data protection (e.g., GDPR), IT security guidelines, internal governance guidelines Risk assessment of robotics applications at the location, potential benefits and risks of projects Training and enabling employees in the use of robotics (e.g., automation) Measurement of the benefits of robotics initiatives (KPIs, business impact) Regular reporting to site management and central functions
Requirements:
Completed engineering degree in automation technology with proven professional experience or a comparable qualification Secure handling of CAD and 3D software (e.g., AutoCAD, PTC Creo) In-depth knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C++, Python) Experience in programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and robotic systems Knowledge of the principles of lean manufacturing Good analytical thinking and procedure, office software, SAP, network structures and their integrations Familiarity with project management methods Strong communication and moderation skills Ability to translate between technology and business Self-initiative, pragmatism, and implementation strength High willingness to learn in the fast-growing robotics environment Very good German and English skills in speech and writing
