JOB SUMMARYThe Financial Analyst Senior – Physician Compensation is responsible for developing, maintaining, monitoring and management of comprehensive financial and physician compensation data as it relates to both productivity and quality. These responsibilities will be used to perform analysis, aid in the forecasting process, and provide additional reporting support as required by Senior Management. The position must also ensure data quality and integrity in these financial and decision support systems.
The Financial Analyst Senior – Physician Compensation is responsible for the coordination of information from variance resources throughout the organization to ensure that NCH is able to report on critical information and complete payments to physicians in a timely and accurate manner. The Sr Financial Analyst – Physician Compensation is also responsible for preparing and providing worksheets and supporting documents to physicians and management that designed to keep individuals informed as it relates to productivity and quality.

- Responsible for the preparation of monthly physician compensation accruals
- Responsible for the reporting of productivity and quality metrics to physicians and management
- Forecast assistance – provide forecast support to directors, managers, teammates and administration for all NPG cost centers.
- Revenue and RVU reporting – generate revenue and RVU data files from NPG billing and other systems to post journal entries, various accrual entries, and provide revised data files to other end users.
- Responsible for completion of provider compensation related surveys.
- Responsible for various reports.
- Responsible for preparation of monthly statistical report (internal).
- Responsible for preparation of monthly statistical report (board).
- Variance analysis – complete monthly variance analysis of revenue and expense accounts.
- Customer financial report – prepare monthly staffing models and other design/distribution of financial models as requested from operations management and administration.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a physician compensation software.
- Physician RVU reports – generate physician RVU reports and distribute to appropriate physicians.
- Tax return – aid in the preparation of yearly NPG tax return.
- Charge Master Maintenance and CMS Physician Fee Schedule tables.
- Other detailed financial analysis will be required.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in physician group/healthcare required.
- Attention to detail needed.
- Excellent analytical skills needed.
- Knowledge of accounting systems and other software.
- Epic experience preferred.
- Intermediate computer knowledge:
Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
