Wealth Planner

The Wealth Planner focuses on driving deeper and meaningful relationships with families by co-creating ongoing, personalized, and comprehensive planning and investment strategies that help achieve their financial goals today, tomorrow, and generations to come.

Responsibilities
  • As a Wealth Planner, be responsible for the effective implementation of wealth management for clients to achieve a high level of client loyalty and deeper long-term relationships. Provide a personalized and dedicated relationship and financial planning that is integrated with investment management for valued clients.

  • Serve as the primary trusted adviser, counselor, and coach to clients with significant wealth and complexity; provide unbiased wealth planning and investment expertise across a range of financial planning needs.

  • Use sophisticated planning software to build, analyze, and deliver personalized plans for clients; guide and implement financial plans into appropriate solutions based on client goals.

  • Build a Relationship Based Practice by fostering deep, trusted, long-term relationships across generations to help families navigate life stages and wealth transfer.

  • Drive loyalty, share of wallet, and referrals from existing customers; collaborate with peers and demonstrate teamwork through standard methodology sharing to foster a culture of planning.

  • Effectively communicate market factors and present regular investment updates to clients and associates; maintain a high level of client satisfaction and engagement.

  • Collaborate across the organization to achieve results; demonstrate ambitious spirit and technology-enabled practice management.

Qualifications
  • Educational background:
    Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred; CFP highly preferred.

  • Licenses/registrations: FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, OR ability to acquire Series 66 upon hire;

  • Experience:

    Required:

    5+ years in financial services or related field; 10+ years preferred.

  • Experience:

    Required:

    3-5 years of financial planning experience; 5+ years preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of high client happiness and dedication (e.g., high NPS, retention) and proven success in financial planning engagements and implementing solutions (plans, mentorship, asset consolidation, retention).

  • Skills:

    Demonstrated EQ to build trust with clients and families; knowledge of behavioral economics and family psychology.

  • Financial planning and wealth management capabilities including cash flow analysis, investment strategy, retirement planning, income protection, asset protection, tax strategies, and family assistance; experience with fee-based services (discretionary and non-discretionary).

  • Investment knowledge:
    Knowledge of investment and portfolio management theory, instruments, markets, and products (including equity, fixed income, and separately managed accounts); ability to present market updates to clients.

  • Sales and client management:
    Successful sales history in fiduciary planning and asset management; ability to handle high-volume environments.

  • Interpersonal:
    Ambitious, collaborative, tech-savvy; strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
