Private Wealth Management Associate (PWM Universal Assistant)
Job DescriptionThe Private Wealth Management (PWM) Universal Assistant functions as the primary, daily contact between Wealth Management, Trust, Banking, or Investment clients and U.S. Bank. Working within delegated authority and department guidelines, the incumbent handles day‑to‑day client calls, transactions, and problem resolution, escalating items beyond specified authority to the assigned Private Wealth Management Advisor or specialist. The role proactively identifies potential problems, compliance issues, or fraud to maximize client satisfaction and encourage relationship expansion.
The assistant develops a working knowledge of assigned areas and accounts through frequent client contact and execution of standard departmental procedures.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of relevant experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven customer service and problem resolution skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Considerable knowledge of departmental and bank products and services
- Sufficient understanding of departmental procedures and systems to operate with very limited supervision
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, requiring an in‑office presence of at least 3 days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office for the remaining days.
