Job SummaryThe Administrative Director is responsible for preparing the annual operating and capital budgets, overseeing audits, joint‑venture accounting, and AHCA regulatory reports. The role manages the Decision Support System, supplies data for the operations team, and directs finance functions within the NCH Medical Group, including forecasting, physician compensation modeling, and team operations. The Director supervises staff maintaining statistical data, forecasts, cost accounting, and the Daily Monitor process, ensuring the organization exceeds patient and stakeholder expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation within assigned areas.
- Prepare and manage the annual system operating, capital, and FTE budgets.
- Prepare and manage the annual AHCA report, quarterly data submissions, and related reporting.
- Maintain monthly system financial variance analysis and reporting.
- Reconcile Strata data and manage reports, including General Ledger and patient‑level reporting.
- Prepare custom Program P&L analysis.
- Manage and monitor the FTE resources of the NCH Healthcare System.
- Direct the Decision Support System.
- Review the Daily Monitor data collection process.
- Support the operations team with timely and accurate information.
- Evaluate the financial and strategic impact of new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to analyze projects, set goals, measure performance, and make recommendations.
- Manage the productivity tool.
- Manage physician compensation plans, review year‑end reconciliation, and calculate bonuses.
- Present financial analysis and data to the NCH Medical Group Board, stakeholders, and leaders.
- Collaborate with third‑party vendors on compensation audits and submit compensation information for national and regional surveys.
- Supervise the preparation of the annual 990 filing for the medical group.
- Assist with the annual medical group audit request.
- Oversee financial reporting, identifying trends and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Finance or related field, or a CPA.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in finance, planning, and forecasting.
- Intermediate computer skills:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
