A leading private wealth management firm is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to support the development of new relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. This is a business development role focused on sourcing and cultivating prospective clients, supporting senior advisors through the sales process, and helping convert qualified opportunities into long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior wealth advisors to develop and execute strategies for identifying and engaging prospective clients.
- Source and qualify new business opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, networking, and other lead channels.
- Prepare prospect profiles, presentations, meeting materials, and supporting analyses.
- Conduct due diligence on prospective clients and referral sources.
- Build relationships with prospective clients, centers of influence, and industry professionals.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and prospective client meetings.
- Coordinate with investment, wealth planning, family office, and client advisory specialists throughout the business development process.
- Develop proficiency in asset allocation modeling, portfolio analysis, fixed income strategies, and tax-transition planning.
- Support the internal review and approval process for new relationships.
- Manage the transition of new clients to the appropriate advisory team.
- Maintain accurate and timely prospect activity in Salesforce.
- Travel as needed for conferences and client meetings.
Qualifications
- MBA required; CFA preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in financial services preferred, with exposure to wealth management, investment management, investment banking, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in business development and relationship building within private wealth management.
- Willingness to obtain Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
