Director Of Public Relations

The director of public relations oversees the strategic, administrative, and operational aspects of communication, press relations, events, protocol, and citizen participation for Sète agglopôle méditerranée. They ensure the consistency of messages, the quality of public sequences, the readability of community action, and the good articulation between the executive's orientations, the general management priorities, and the needs of the services. They supervise the teams under their responsibility and organize the cross-functional operation of the department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE:
Very good knowledge of the territorial and intercommunal environment. Very good knowledge of the functioning of local authorities and local executives. Mastery of public and institutional communication issues. Mastery of press relations and crisis communication. Mastery of the main communication languages: written, oral, events, signage, graphic charter, multimedia, social networks. Knowledge of legal rules applicable to public communication, electoral communication, right to image, data protection, and access to administrative documents.

Knowledge of protocol usages. Knowledge of citizen participation and consultation procedures. Knowledge of budgetary, administrative, and public procurement rules. General knowledge of local public policies and territorial development. Project engineering expertise.
