Required:

FL license,

ASCP, 5+ years experience, and

the ability to gross all specimen types (not just biopsies, and to include breast and colon cases as well as complex oncology cases

)

Please note expectation to float between campuses as needed

The Histology Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills, judgement and proficiency

in the practice of all technical procedures in accordance with standards set by applicable regulatory agencies including CAP, TJC, CLIA, AABB and OSHA.

Testing is provided for patients with varying degrees of clinical conditions and different acuity levels.
