** Medical Assistant II –   Full Time

Schedule:

7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Experience:

1–2 years required Specialty:
Primary Care, Pulmonary or Cardiac experience is a plus   Float between two offices depending on provider's schedule    Overview We’re seeking a skilled Medical Assistant II to support a new provider in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities while ensuring excellent patient care and smooth daily operations.
** How will you make an impact & Requirements
**** Key Responsibilities
*** Complete patient intakes, vitals, medical histories, and medication reviews
* Assist with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing
* Perform EKGs, immunizations, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing
* Prepare and process lab samples
* Maintain infection control and clinical room readiness
* Support triage, care coordination, and patient education
* Document accurately in the EHR
* Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and verify insurance
* Monitor supplies and maintain equipment
* Provide compassionate, patient‑centered service
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or equivalent
* Graduate of an accredited MA program
* 1–2 years of clinical experience
* BLS required
* MA certification

* EHR experience (Epic, Athena, Cerner, etc.)
* Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
