Assumptions: Pay package is based on 9‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

The Histology Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills, judgement and proficiency in the practice of all technical procedures in accordance with standards set by applicable regulatory agencies including CAP, TJC, CLIA, AABB and OSHA.

Testing is provided for patients with varying degrees of clinical conditions and different acuity levels, including all age ranges from newborns to geriatric patients.

Expectation to float between campuses as needed.

• Florida license
• ASCP certification
• 5+ years of experience
• Ability to gross all specimen types (not just biopsies), including breast and colon cases as well as complex oncology cases
