Position Summary

Aqualane Clinical Research is seeking an experienced and driven Site Director to oversee daily operations, strategic growth, and regulatory compliance at our clinical research facility. This individual will play a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality study execution, staff performance, sponsor satisfaction, and continued site expansion.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with a solid background in clinical research operations who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the clinical research site
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, sponsor requirements, and SOPs
• Oversee study startup, execution, and closeout across multiple trials
• Manage and support site staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, CROs, monitors, and auditors
• Monitor enrollment performance, data quality, and study timelines
• Lead site readiness for monitoring visits, audits, and inspections
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
• Support business development efforts and strategic growth initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of clinical research experience, including leadership or management roles
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial operations and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience managing teams and multiple studies simultaneously
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite and manage a dynamic, fast-paced research environment
• Experience working with sponsors and CROs across Phase I–IV studies preferred
