Afternoon Caregiver Naples

Description

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable, and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

The role is offered on an independent contractor basis and pays $17.00 hourly.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.

• Have a positive outlook and contagious energy.
• Demonstrate patience and compassion.

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitating community involvement by accompanying the individual to social events and outings such as grocery shopping and appointments.
• Promoting communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Completing daily progress notes.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.
