Echocardiology Technician

JOB SUMMARY

A skilled Echocardiography Technician is needed for a travel assignment to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures.

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms (transthoracic, transesophageal) to assess cardiac structure and function.
• Obtain high‑quality ultrasound images and Doppler recordings according to established protocols.
• Measure and analyze cardiac structures and hemodynamic data.
• Provide accurate and concise preliminary findings to physicians.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
• Float between campuses as needed.

• 4 x 10‑hour shifts per week, Days (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
• Occasional weekend coverage and on‑call duties required.

• ARDMS or CCI certification
• BLS certification

• 3+ years of echocardiography experience preferred.
• Must have experience performing Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
• Structural Heart experience preferred.

• Proficient in performing diagnostic echocardiograms.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Adult cardiac patients.

Echocardiology / Radiology

• Will float between campuses as needed.
• On‑call duties as assigned.
