Job Title: Entry Phlebotomist I
Location: Naples, FL
Duration: 3+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM EST

Position Summary

We are seeking an Entry Phlebotomist I to join our team in Naples, FL. This role is primarily a Lobby Greeter/Patient Services Representative (PSR I) position focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate will greet patients, assist with kiosk or tablet check-ins, answer questions with professionalism and compassion, and ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all visitors.

In addition to front-desk responsibilities, the selected candidate will provide support in specimen collection areas and assist with phlebotomy coverage during staff breaks. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact confidently with patients while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, creating a positive and professional first impression.
  • Guide patients through the check-in process using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets.
  • Answer patient questions and address concerns with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and integrity of the waiting area.
  • Support phlebotomy staff by providing coverage during breaks as needed.
  • Perform specimen collection and processing duties in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
  • Ensure patient information is handled with strict confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Promote a positive image of the organization when interacting with patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop additional skills within the organization.
  • Perform daily activities accurately and efficiently under the direction of the area supervisor.
Required Qualifications Education
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required (No exceptions).
Experience
  • Minimum 1–2 years of customer-facing experience required (Retail, Hospitality, Home Health Aide, Healthcare Support, or similar).
  • Some phlebotomy experience is required.
  • Data entry and keyboarding experience required.
  • Experience working directly with patients or customers in a fast-paced environment preferred.

  • Knowledge of clinical and forensic specimen collection procedures.
