Location:
800 Goodlette Rd, Suite 340
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Compensation: $18–$20/hr

Hard‐working, punctual, excellent attendance About the Role The Patient Care Specialist II provides advanced administrative and patient access support to ensure smooth daily medical office operations. You will independently manage patient registration, insurance verification, referrals, and basic billing issues while delivering exceptional service. This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to work confidently with minimal supervision.
** How will you make an impact & Requirements**##
** Key Responsibilities**
* ** Register patients
** and verify insurance accurately in the EHR
* Collect copayments and follow standard cash‐handling procedures
* Process referrals, authorizations, and medical record requests
* Answer phones, schedule appointments, and support daily provider schedules
* Resolve basic billing or documentation issues
* Perform clerical tasks (filing, faxing, scanning, uploading documents)
* Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information
* Provide professional, courteous customer service in a fast‐paced environment
* Coordinate scheduling across multiple providers
* Audit charts and registration data to correct errors
* Support the Practice Manager and care team with administrative tasks
* Assist with workflow improvements and new system implementations##
** Required Qualifications
*** Minimum
** 1 year
** front‐office experience in a healthcare setting
* Strong customer‐service skills
* Hard‐working, punctual, and reliable with excellent attendance
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and multitask
