WorkEnvironment
This full-time position is based in our modern orthopedic outpatient office, designed to ensure optimum patient comfort and accessibility. The environment is characterized by a friendly and professional atmosphere, where healthcare professionals work closely together to provide high-quality care. You will have access to state-of-the-art therapy equipment and resources that enable you to perform your duties effectively and efficiently. Our facility operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess movement impairments and create individualized treatment strategies based on evidence-based guidelines.
- Implement treatment interventions that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and billing in compliance with clinic protocols and healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through coordinated care plans.
- Achieve clinical productivity benchmarks while continuously updating knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions, contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure a safe clinical environment by adhering to best practices for infection control and assisting in the maintenance of therapy equipment.
The patients you will work with encompass a diverse population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will be crucial in guiding these individuals through their rehabilitation journeys, ensuring they receive personalized care tailored to their specific needs and goals.
Qualifications- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Master's/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- An active Florida Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
- A patient-centered approach with a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care in an outpatient setting.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinical setting.
- Familiarity with WebPT or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems is highly desirable.
- A strong team orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
