Director of Social Service

Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team at Advinia Care Naples, a senior living provider operating assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities. As a Director of Social Services, you will play a crucial role in providing social services to our residents, including admission process, facility adjustment, psychosocial needs, resident grievances, family grievances, MDS assessments, counseling, care plans, discharge planning, and more.

As a Director of Social Services, you will play a crucial role in providing social services to our residents, including admission process, facility adjustment, psychosocial needs, resident grievances, family grievances, MDS assessments, counseling, care plans, discharge planning, and more.
Responsibilities:

• Manage the psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs of residents residing in a skilled nursing center
• Develop and/or aid in the access of services for residents
• Provide services in accordance with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and government regulations
• Work effectively with a variety of disciplines in an individual and team setting
• Possess a working understanding of social systems and ability to implement pertinent state and federal regulations
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Licensed and registered in the state of Florida
• Strong communication, assessment, and social work methods and techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
