Registered Behavior Technician

Position Summary The Registered  Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct one‑on‑one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients under the supervision of aBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT helps reduce challenging behaviors, teaches new skills, and supports clients—often children with autism or developmental delays—in home, clinic, school, and community settings.

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans created by the supervising BCBA.

• Use evidence‑based strategies to reduce challenging behaviors.

• Teach communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.

• Collect accurate, real‑time data on client behavior and skill acquisition.

• Complete session notes and maintain compliance with organizational and insurance requirements.

• Follow all RBT ethics, HIPAA guidelines, and BACB standards.

• Communicate professionally with BCBAs, caregivers, and team members.

• Participate in ongoing training and supervision.

• Active RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

• High school diploma or equivalent (some employers prefer college coursework or a degree).

• Ability to work with children and individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to collect and record behavioral data accurately.

• Physical ability to lift 25–50lbs, sit on the floor, and engage in active play.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

• Experience providing ABA therapy.

• RBT certificate required

• Experience working with children.

• Bilingual (Spanish preferred but not required).
