Seeking professional housekeeper for a luxury condominium association in Naples, FL.

Our housekeepers are valued members of the staff and are integral to the success of the management team. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior quality cleanliness to the owners and residents of EEC.

Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Provide daily cleaning for all of the operations including but not limited to: offices, public spaces such as lobby areas, elevators, garage, pool furniture, outdoor kitchens and community kitchens, gym, restroom facilities and guest suites.

• Performs light and heavy cleaning including but not limited to: window washing, furniture polishing, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, floor cleaning and polishing, emptying of trash cans and recycling.

• Identifies when supplies are needed and reports to supervisor.

• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

• Follow all company policies and procedures; reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, and/or accidents.

• Performs other duties as required

Basic Skills:

• Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

• Using logic and reasoning to identify solution to problems.

• Talking with others to convey information effectively.

• Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

• Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do complete the task.

Tasks:

• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.

• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.

• Clean common areas, guest suites, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, stairways, outdoor pool area and kitchens, and other work areas so that health standards are met.

• Empty wastebaskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.

• Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.

• Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.

• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and window coverings.

• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.

• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.

• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.

• Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.

• Sort, count, and mark clean linens and store them in linen closets.

• Launder linens, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items.

• Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses.

• Laundry type washing machines; household washer and dryer

• Vacuum cleaners and wet-dry vacuum

• Carpet cleaning equipment and floor polisher

• Cleaning and tile brushes

• Brooms, dusters, mops,

• Dishwashers

• Spray bottles, scouring pads, sponges, brushes, trash bags, squeegees

• Step ladders

• Pressure washers

• Housekeeping carts

Additional

Job Requirements:



• One month related experience or training.

• Work one weekend a month with two consecutive days off following.

• Lift, carry, push and pull items that may weigh up to 25lbs with or without assistance.

• Ability to work outdoors for short periods of time, including during the summer in South Florida.

• Position requires a background report

• Regular and reliable attendance.
