As a senior consultant with extensive experience in managing large Oracle database landscapes and specialization in high-availability systems, particularly Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), you will support our customers in setting up new databases and environments as well as automating activities in this area. In addition, you will support us in release deployments and compliance with ITIL guidelines. You will also support our customers in designing fail-safety and proactively work on defining measures to prevent production outages.

In addition to project work, your duties include market observation and maintaining your expertise, which we naturally support. To be successful, you will be continuously trained and accompanied by experienced managers during your deployments. The following tasks also belong to your area of activity:
• Support in the implementation of database services for our customers
• Consulting & Documentation:
You will advise our customers and develop individual solutions for their requirements. You will also create professional, technical, and operational documentation for all relevant systems and their components.
• Support in Backup & Recovery Management tasks and patching for our customers
• Development of the service portfolio and proactive participation in internal specialist groups

You ideally have many years of experience in consulting with a focus on Oracle database administration and have already successfully dealt with different problem-solving approaches in this context. Your skills and abilities include:
• Long-term knowledge of database technologies and their operational processes (Oracle, PostgreSQL, ideally also MSSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch)
• Good experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud Customer
• Good knowledge of shell and Ansible scripting
• Good knowledge of Git
• Very good experience with ITIL procedures
• High technical understanding of IT infrastructure services
• Ideally expertise in building, operating, and sourcing of data center services in the banking environment
• Several years of experience in IT migration and/or development projects, ideally cloud-based and/or experience in migrating databases in a datacenter move desirable
• Good knowledge of common project management methods (classical, agile)
• Structured, goal-oriented, and solution-oriented working style
• Communication and organizationally strong, persistent, and sustainable
• Communication in German and English required#LI-AS2
