Warehouse Associate will receive incoming donations, sort and process merchandise according to proper procedure. Duties include maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse(s) and surrounding areas, including but not limited to restrooms, donation sorting areas, storage areas, and grounds.
Responsibilities in the Donation Drop Off area include receiving incoming merchandise and food donations, sorting and processing them for appropriate locations, fostering long‑lasting relationships, and educating donors regarding our programs and services.

Job Requirements- Maintain a high level of professionalism, including safety, courtesy, and positive communication; ensure other staff members do the same.
- Must be trustworthy, work well in a team environment, keep a neat, professional appearance.
- Ability to work safely and cooperatively in a variety of situations with a variety of team members is essential.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of warehouse(s), sorting area(s), storage container(s), restroom(s) and other surrounding areas; light grounds keeping may be required.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of commercial waste receptacle area, including breaking down large unsalable items and placing them neatly into appropriate receptacles.
- Responsible for moving processed and unprocessed donations and other items between warehouses and storage areas.
- Required to operate heavy equipment; will be trained and certified as needed.
- Assist warehouse staff with loading and unloading of donated items, ensuring they remain undamaged and are placed in the correct position and location.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Assistant Manager and assist with daily duties.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: No experience necessary, will train.
Travel Demands: Flexibility in work hours; this position requires some overtime and ability to work on some holidays.
Confidentiality: Works with confidential information.
Mental/Visual Demands: Flow of work requires normal mental and visual capabilities.
Physical Demands: Requires standing, walking, reaching, bending and stooping for long periods. Must handle, feel and/or reach with hands and arms and frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Working Areas: Warehouse(s) and surrounding exterior and interior areas.
