As a Mechanic Technician, you will repair and maintain all golf course equipment and small gas‑powered hand tools, using technical skills to ensure accurate repairs and effective preventive maintenance programs. You will perform daily inspections for safety, cleanliness, quality of grass cut, and cut height, and uphold maintenance schedules related to reel grinding, preventive maintenance, and record‑keeping.

• Repair and maintain all golf course equipment and small gas‑powered hand tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance including changing oil, filters, tires, and other routine tasks.
• Conduct daily inspections for safety, cleanliness, and quality of cuts.
• Maintain schedules for reel grinding, preventive maintenance, and record‑keeping.
• Operate all maintenance equipment properly.
• Stand, walk, and stoop for long periods in an outdoor environment.
• Report any maintenance issues to management.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical experience helpful, but not required.
• Ability to properly operate all maintenance equipment in this department.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule: weekends, holidays, and occasional odd hours under emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Compliance with Drug‑Free Workplace Policy.
• Must own a basic set of employee tools.
• Experience with golf course equipment maintenance an advantage.
