The Operations Manager is responsible for the operational success of the assigned location, ensuring seamless execution across all operational functions while maintaining the high standards of Marissa Collections. This role requires a strategic, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven leader who can balance operational excellence with the client experience. The Operations Manager serves as the primary on-site operational leader, partnering closely with sales leadership, corporate teams, and ownership to ensure alignment, efficiency, and execution across all departments.

Summary

Responsible for operational success related to the assigned location. Advises and makes recommendations to ownership concerning facility and operational needs.

The following departments will report to the Operations Manager:

  • Alterations
  • Beauty Operations
The Experience

  • Demonstrates an engaged management presence focused on exceptional customer service from the operations team and ensuring that all team members embody the core values of Marissa Collections.
  • Responsible for the full lifecycle of designated direct reports, including hiring, training, coaching, disciplinary action, and separation through collaboration with senior leadership and corporate resources.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in operational processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Actively collaborate and communicate with Corporate teams.
  • Monitor store inventory in cooperation with the inventory supervisor. Supervise merchandise movement and mark‑downs, in collaboration with the Store Manager.
  • Responsible for successful inventory conducted three (3) times annually, with support and collaboration from the location leadership and staff.
  • Through collaboration with other leaders, responsible for the execution of jewelry‑related processes and procedures.
  • Maintain operation of all POS functions to ensure accurate store reporting and accounting, company policies and procedures, with daily reporting to designated leaders.
  • Act as a communication facilitator between the designated direct reports and other departments.
  • Through directives from ownership, marketing team, or other assigned individuals, act as photo shoot liaison, and oversee store promotional events and merchandise displays, delegating as needed to execute to perfection.
  • Coordinate execution for trunk show merchandise (inbound and outbound).
  • Communicate with Company leaders to ensure inventory needs are being met with collaboration among the location leadership.
  • Manage payroll with People Operations (HR).
  • Responsible for maintaining the store schedule to ensure adequate coverage of all shifts with input from Store Manager.
  • Collaborate with People Operations and Store Manager to review, evaluate, and screen applications and resumes received for all open positions in the Naples location.
  • Execute replenishment for all Beauty products to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Attract and recruit successful operational employees capable of long‑term success on the team.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members and foster a positive work environment.
  • Manage and assist with opening and closing duties at the location.
  • Serve as the primary operational leader on site, acting as decision‑maker in the absence of senior leadership.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence during high‑volume periods, events, and peak client traffic to support both sales and service execution.
  • Partner with sales leadership to ensure operational decisions directly support client experience, conversion, and retention.
  • Lead Jewelry Operations with accountability for technical accuracy, compliance, handling standards, and merchandising readiness.
  • Act as liaison between vendors, corporate partners, and store teams to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Serve as the primary corporate liaison for operations‑related functions, including Inventory, Shipping, IT, Construction, Maintenance, Alterations, and Expense Management.
