** Job Summary*
* The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the organization's operational functions, driving efficiencies and aligning processes with strategic goals. The COO provides executive leadership, manages key operational areas, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards while supporting high-quality patient care and organizational growth. This role collaborates closely with other members of the executive team to implement strategic initiatives, optimize resource utilization, and enhance organizational performance.

** Essential Functions*
* + Leads and manages operational functions across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering high-quality, efficient patient care.

+ Develops and implements operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency, compliance, and overall performance.

+ Collaborates with the executive team to develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans, ensuring resource optimization and achievement of organizational goals.

+ Oversees key departments, such as facilities management, supply chain, support services, and information technology, to drive operational excellence and integration.

+ Manages budget planning and resource allocation for operational departments, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining service quality.

+ Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain compliance.

+ Analyzes operational data, metrics, and trends to identify improvement opportunities and lead performance enhancement initiatives.

+ Acts as a key liaison between administrative leadership, clinical teams, and support services to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

+ Provides executive oversight of major projects, system implementations, and initiatives to ensure successful execution and alignment with organizational priorities.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

+ Complies with all policies and standards.

** Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required

+ Master's Degree in Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or a related field preferred

+ More than 10 years of experience in healthcare operations management, with at least five (5) years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple operational areas required

** Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

*
* + In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement methodologies.

+ Strong strategic planning, project management, and analytical skills, with experience in managing large-scale operations.

+ Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive teams, staff, and external partners.

+ Proficiency in operational management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and resource optimization.
