Responsibilities
- Serves as the Chief of the Support Services Division and holds delegated program responsibility for the entity recognized as the support organization for the DDOO.
- Administers inventory accountability, systems support, administrative support, emergency management, equipment and facilities maintenance, special projects, and the full range of related resource‑management programs for the DDOO.
- Directs programs that provide support in the areas of inventory accountability, systems support, and special projects.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Tour of Duty:
Set Schedule. - Security Requirements:
Non‑Critical Sensitive with Secret Access. - Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination; unfavorable adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.
- Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA):
Exempt. - Selective Service Requirement:
Males born after 12‑31‑59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. - Recruitment

To qualify for this Supervisory Supply Management Specialist position, applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Specialized experience: one year of experience directly related to this position, equivalent to a GS‑12 level or the equivalent under other federal pay systems, military, or the private sector.
- Experience in making or recommending organization changes with substantial impact on structure, operating cost, and key positions.
- Ability to determine goals, develop plans, and assess resource‑management needs for a distribution organization independently or jointly with higher management.
- Capability to monitor progress toward goals, evaluate performance, and make appropriate adjustments.
Education substitution may not be used to satisfy the specialized experience requirement for this grade level.
