Fabrication Manager

We are seeking a hands‑on Fabrication Manager to oversee daily shop operations, production scheduling, quality, inventory, and fabrication personnel in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven shop leader who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems, supporting their team, and driving projects from concept through completion.

Lead and supervise fabrication shop personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

• Manage daily production schedules and workflow to ensure projects are completed on time
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and resources to support production goals
• Monitor quality throughout the fabrication process and implement corrective actions as needed
• Work closely with project management, engineering, purchasing, and installation teams
• Oversee inventory levels, material usage, and shop organization
• Train, mentor, and develop fabrication personnel
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, and overall shop performance
• Assist with hands‑on fabrication and troubleshooting when necessary

• 5+ years of fabrication, manufacturing, or shop management experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience managing fabrication schedules, manpower, and production priorities
• Proven leadership experience supervising shop personnel
• Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing processes
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and production tracking systems
  
  Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Custom fabrication, architectural products, signage, millwork, or specialty manufacturing experience
• Inventory management and purchasing coordination
