Naples Botanical Garden is a 170-acre world‑class paradise featuring the flora and cultures of the tropics and sub‑tropics including Brazil, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Florida. The Garden’s mission is to connect people and plants through display, education, conservation, and science. Its hands‑on interactive Smith Children’s Garden, 90 acres of native habitats, formal gardens, walking trails, and public programming offer education and enjoyment for people of all ages.

The Social Media Coordinator supports the Marketing department’s efforts to increase awareness of the Garden’s mission and programs. The Coordinator plans, develops, and implements digital assets, notably social media, to maintain a dynamic and appealing public image while promoting the values of the institution. This position reports to the Senior Content Manager.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities- Produces content for the Garden’s social media platforms.
- Serves as main point of contact for all social media platforms and the primary information email, ensuring consistent messaging.
- Manages development and reporting of digital metrics.
- Creates and reports on Meta platform advertising.
- Maintains, monitors, and tracks social media using dashboards to measure progress and maximize ROI.
- Collaborates with the Director of Marketing & Guest Relations to evaluate results of digital marketing campaigns and overall activity.
- Provides actionable insights based on campaign performance.
- Builds relationships with influencers and local marketing agents to develop content supporting the Garden’s mission and revenue goals.
- Ensures best practices are followed in all areas of digital marketing and social media to increase brand awareness and engagement among target audiences.
- Oversees web‑based tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Campsite, Meta business accounts) to support digital marketing.
- Ensures all work is consistent with brand guidelines, policies, and compliance standards.
- Performs periodic maintenance, review, and updating of all digital assets and materials.
- Assists with events as needed.
- Consults with Garden staff to gather information on programs, events, and developments to create stories and determine content priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in communications or marketing role desired.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom mandatory; other Adobe products a bonus.
- Knowledge of editing software such as Cap Cut for reels/videos.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, sharing information in a timely manner.
- Strong analytical skills for research, organization, and presentation of information.
- Self‑starter with a strong work ethic, resourceful, conscientious, punctual, and energetic.
- Team‑oriented, collaborative work style.
- Able to take direction and fulfill responsibilities under stress or pressure with minimal supervision.
- Effective written communication skills, including copywriting, proofreading, and editing.
- Basic office administration skills (filing, typing, copying, etc.).
- Professional interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, volunteers, board members, and others.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends on occasion.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required.

Salary: $19.95 per hour. Classification:
Non‑Exempt.
