Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON) is seeking a highly organized, relationship-oriented Campaign Coordinator to support a transformational comprehensive fundraising campaign that will expand CMON’s impact for children and families across Southwest Florida.
Working closely with the CEO, Chief Advancement Officer, Development Director, board leadership, campaign volunteers, donors, and consultants, the Campaign Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing CMON’s mission by coordinating the systems, communication, and donor engagement activities that drive successful campaign outcomes.
This full-time position supports a multi-faceted campaign focused on the creation of an Early Learning Center, refurbishment of museum exhibits, and the growth of a sustainable fundraising program and endowment to ensure long-term access, excellence, and operational strength.
Key Responsibilities Campaign Coordination & Administration- Coordinate, schedule, and support campaign-related meetings with Campaign Chair(s), Steering Committee members, staff, volunteers, and consultants.
- Prepare and distribute agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up action items to ensure alignment, accountability, and forward momentum.
- Support donor prospect cultivation and solicitation activities by scheduling meetings, preparing donor research profiles, assisting with proposals and presentations, and coordinating follow-up communications.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and thoughtful stewardship activities that reflect CMON’s commitment to gratitude, transparency, and relationship-building.
- Maintain accurate campaign records using donor management software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Prepare and reconcile campaign reports and dashboards tracking dollars raised, meetings held, proposals pending, and naming opportunities confirmed, pending, or available.
- Uphold best practices in data integrity, confidentiality, and ethical fundraising standards.
- Work collaboratively with museum leadership, development staff, board members, and volunteers to support campaign strategy, timelines, and goals.
- Model professionalism, discretion, and donor-centered practice in all interactions, reflecting CMON’s values and commitment to children, families, and community.
- Prior experience or demonstrated knowledge of fundraising campaigns, development operations, and/or engagement with high-net-worth individuals, corporations, or family and private foundations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with donors, volunteers, board members, and internal stakeholders across multiple platforms.
- High level of organizational skill and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ethical practice, including strict adherence to confidentiality and safeguarding of sensitive donor, prospect, and financial information.
- Ability to work collaboratively, exercise sound judgment, and support relationship-based fundraising rooted in trust, respect, and shared purpose.
- Knowledge of the Southwest Florida philanthropic and business community is a plus.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
