The Director of Nursing oversees and manages a team of nurses and caregivers in the home care setting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of care provided to our clients to promote their overall wellbeing and safety.

Position Description
  • Full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) role combining administrative duties in the office and clinical oversight in the field.
  • Schedule:

    Monday through Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, with after‑hours on‑call rotation.
  • The candidate must possess strong leadership, communication skills, and dependability.
  • The candidate must be able to oversee personal‑care staff as well as clinical nursing staff, including wound care, IV infusion, and ventilator cases. Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative duties: QA/QI, quarterly and annual audits.
  • Ensure oversight of quality of care and case management.
  • Prepare incident and occurrence reports.
  • Maintain Joint Commission / AHCA compliance.
  • Oversee orientation, annual reviews, and establish employee clinical competency.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Employee management and counseling.
  • Participate in mock survey.
  • Oversee overall clinical operations.
Requirements
  • Florida driver’s license.
  • AHCA Level 2 background check.
  • RN license in good standing with the State of FL.
  • Certified in CPR.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills, minimum 2‑year experience in home care preferred. Candidates with strong clinical and leadership background will be considered.
