Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience and strength in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology for a 13-week travel contract in Naples, FL.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting in Naples, FL,

• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM,

• On-call responsibilities required,

• Floating between campuses may be required as needed,

• Cerner EMR used; experience required,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license required,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS,

• CNOR certification preferred,

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required, with strength in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and/or Urology,

• Cerner EMR experience required,

• A valid driver's license is required for consideration,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the assignment,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include ensuring surgical supply readiness, case timeliness, family communication, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care,

• Works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital regulatory standards,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position,

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible,

• RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration
