Flo Med Infusion is an outpatient infusion clinic offering medical infusions and injections in a relaxing ambulatory environment. We operate 11 offices in Florida and 4 offices in New Jersey, and are actively expanding across both states.
LocationThe position is full‑time in Naples, Florida. Candidates must orient for 3‑4 weeks in Delray Beach, Florida, with company‑subsidized accommodations.
Position SummaryThe Infusion Nurse reports to the Nursing Manager and is responsible for providing high‑quality clinical services, including infusion care and IV therapy. The nurse documents progress notes, communicates patient status to nursing, physician, and other staff, and may supervise support personnel when required.
ResponsibilitiesThe Infusion Nurse is responsible for the quality and adequacy of services provided, including:
- Administration of IV therapy and infusion care.
- Preparation of progress notes and care summaries.
- Maintaining compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the company respectfully.
- Performing duties that may involve exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material.
- Current, unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of hire (Florida or New Jersey).
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
- Minimum five (5) years documented nursing experience; 3–5 years of infusion care experience preferred.
- Exceptional nursing assessment skills.
- Compliance with accepted professional standards of practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical/critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in IV placement, including on difficult patients.
- Pediatric experience a plus.
- Portal access experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle clients tactfully.
- Respectful treatment of clients, staff, and the public; presentation of a positive public image.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance, including OSHA and HIPAA.
The Infusion Nurse must be able to stand, walk, squat, kneel, bend, reach, twist, push, and pull as required, and must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
