Description

Established in 2023 and located in Naples, Florida, the Gate Golf Club ("The Gate") is a non-profit organization driven by a shared love for golf and a commitment to creating a lasting impact on the community. Scheduled to open in late 2026, The Gate consists of a 175-seat freestanding full-service restaurant, pavilion bar, concessions snack bar, 30-bay state-of-the-art practice range with Trackman technology, Himalayas-style putting green, and a Jacobsen-Hardy designed 9-hole regulation length golf course.

Recognizing the limited availability of public courses in Southwest Florida, The Gate Golf Club is dedicated to making the sport more accessible for families, children, and players of all skill levels.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Golf Course Maintenance Laborer. This role is essential in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our golf course, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of excellence for our golfers and visitors. As a Golf Course Maintenance Laborer, you will work collaboratively with our groundskeeping team to execute a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall upkeep of the course.

Requirements

• Assist with turf installation projects, including laying and fitting sod to repair or establish new turf areas on the course.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing fairways, tees, putting greens and rough, trimming vegetation, and edging sand bunkers, to ensure optimal playing conditions.
• Assist with the irrigation and watering of the golf course to maintain healthy grass and plant life.
• Collaborate with the grounds crew to prepare the course for tournaments and special events.
• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any issues as needed.
