Norway Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician who enjoys being part of a highly collaborative team. If you're a technician who enjoys surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, urgent and preventative care, this is the kind of role where your skills can stay sharp. Our hospital blends full-service general practice with advanced orthopedic work, a high dental caseload, urgent care support, and care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, and birds.

Our team rotates through appointments, surgery, dentistry, treatment, diagnostics, work-ins, and technician appointments so skills stay fresh, the days stay engaging, and no one becomes an island.

We are especially interested in someone who will make a real impact quickly; therefore, candidates with experience in surgery and anesthesia will be given preference. Dental experience is also valuable, but we're open to training the right person.

What you'll find at Norway Veterinary Hospital:

• Two surgical suites and a separate dental suite
• Advanced orthopedic exposure, including TPLOs, FHOs, fracture repairs, PennHIP, and orthopedic scoping
• Large dental volume and opportunity to build strong dentistry skills
• Full-body digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and IDEXX lab equipment
• Experienced orthopedic team with decades of surgical experience
• Opportunity to work with dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, and birds
• 4-day work week structure with predictable days off whenever possible
• Every other Saturday rotation

A strong fit for this role is someone who:

• Has solid veterinary experience and surgical confidence
• Is comfortable with anesthesia and patient monitoring
• Enjoys dentistry or wants to keep developing dental skills
• Can move between clinic, surgery, treatment, and client-facing work
• Communicates well with clients and teammates
• Likes variety and can stay steady in a busy environment
• Is flexible, dependable, and willing to jump in where needed
• Would be interested in orthopedic exposure or advanced procedural support

This role is primarily based at Norway Veterinary Hospital. Willingness to occasionally support our Naples location is a plus, but not required.

Full-time is preferred, though we may consider part-time for the right person.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and is expected to be around $22–26/hour.

Sign-on bonus eligible.
