Associate Veterinarian

At Cat Care Clinic of Naples, cats aren’t part of what we do. They’re all we do. Since 1997, we’ve been Southwest Florida’s only cat-exclusive veterinary hospital, dedicated to gold-standard care in a calm, low-stress, Fear Free environment. We’re looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian who is passionate about feline medicine and ready to practice at a high clinical standard, without the noise, stress, and pace of a mixed general practice or emergency setting.

This is the role for a veterinarian who wants to focus their practice entirely on cats, take real ownership of their caseload, and grow within a well-established practice. You’ll work alongside our Medical Director and a close-knit clinical team to deliver comprehensive feline care that addresses cats’ unique medical, behavioral, and emotional needs, from routine wellness and dentistry to advanced diagnostics and chronic disease management.

Your days will be spent practicing the full range of feline medicine, with the support to do it well:

• Perform feline wellness exams, sick visits, and preventive care
• Diagnose and manage chronic feline conditions
• Perform routine surgical procedures and provide anesthesia oversight for surgeries and dentals
• Interpret diagnostics and provide compassionate end-of-life care guided by Fear Free principles
• Build strong client relationships through clear, empathetic communication and thoughtful treatment planning
• Work closely with our Medical Director and collaborate with a close-knit technician and support team
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold our clinical protocols

You’re a skilled, compassionate veterinarian who wants to go deep on feline medicine as part of a collaborative team. You bring:

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school
• An active Florida DVM license in good standing, or eligibility for Florida licensure before your start date
• Active DEA registration
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• At least 2 years of small animal clinical experience after graduation
• Strong foundational surgical and dental skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A commitment to Fear Free handling
• The ability to work collaboratively within a small, close-knit team

We believe experienced clinicians should be rewarded for the skill and care they bring to every case. Our Pro Sal structure pairs a strong base with production, so your compensation grows alongside the work you do:

• $120,000 to $170,000+ base salary (Pro Sal structure)
• $5,000 signing bonus
