The Club at Kalea Bay offers five‑star resort features, including pools, tennis courts, and two restaurants:
Salt & Oak and the Driftwood Café. We are looking for a seasonal bartender who would thrive in a hospitality/culinary environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to members and guests while maintaining an innovative and creative environment!

We are hiring a seasonal bartender for a temporary, full‑time position from October 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027.

• Communicate with members and guests using clear, enthusiastic words, tone, and body language.
• Work with the Club's personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.
• Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.
• Mix liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
• Prepare appetizers such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats.
• Ring food and beverage orders into the computer before preparing them.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with the Club's standards.
• Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Serve alcohol responsibly. Coordinate with all servers/team members to identify the signs of intoxication.
• Place current bar tabs in front of guests at all times.
• Learn members’ and guests’ names, occupations, and favorite drinks to make the Club a special place for them.

Typical shifts are 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., or 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. The specific days and hours of work will vary based on business needs. Flexibility to work all shifts required. We’re open seven days a week and holidays are required.

Overtime may be available. No on‑the‑job training is provided.

• Knowledge of a Point of Sales System.
• Must be able to work in a non‑air‑conditioning outdoor environment.
• Walk and stand during the entire shift.
• Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe.
• Remain stationary for long periods.
• Frequently wash hands.
• Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Can manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry, and wipe.
• Be able to hear and talk.
• Good close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus between the two.
• Travel is not required.
• On‑the‑job training is not provided.
