- Provide member service and maintain the checkout area.
- Resolve member issues, concerns, and inquiries regarding purchases and return processes.
- Promote Sam's Club products and services and assist members with purchasing decisions.
- Guide members on the use of self‑service technology and mobile retail applications.
- Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Implement company safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations to facility management.
- Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, review receipts, and secure club assets.
- Handle merchandise properly, zone the area, organize displays, and identify shrink and damages.
- Maintain paperwork, logs, and required documentation; execute emergency response procedures.
- Assist with training member‑frontline associates on processes, new technology, and program rollouts.
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and stakeholders to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and recommend process improvements.
- Promote teamwork, mentorship, and open communication to strengthen the shop floor team.
- Adhere to Walmart and Sam's Club values of integrity, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety practices.
