Asset Protection Manager

Job Overview

Asset Protection Manager responsible for inventory shortage performance and the execution of the Asset Protection Strategy for the assigned store.

• Oversee and ensure the integrity of physical inventory by monitoring daily and monthly reports and audits with the Asset Protection Investigators.
• Communicate regularly with Store Leadership, Managers and Associates to promote awareness of inventory shortage results, concerns and strategy initiatives.
• Provide final oversight of audit execution and maintain internal audit readiness.
• Work with sales support to ensure shortage control processes are followed.
• Handle ad hoc duties as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid provincial security license required.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of retail asset protection experience, preferably in a large‑volume environment.
• Wicklander‑Zulawski Interview Certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, relationship building and public speaking skills.
• Comfortable with technology and able to learn quickly on the spot.
• Capacity to work in fast‑paced environments and shift priorities while balancing workload.
• Knowledgable in retail security systems, information systems and productivity software.
• Proven track record of identifying shortage exposures and devising creative mitigation strategies.
