As the Olu Kai Retail Associate (Huaka’i, meaning to lead), your kuleana is to welcome customers into the store and deliver a remarkable brand experience. We seek responsible, outgoing, culturally minded team members to be the first point of contact for guests at the Olu Kai store. You should be genuine, service‑oriented, and passionate about premium products and the evolving retail industry.
Availability- Part‑time (29 hours or less per week)
- Full‑time (32 hours or more per week)
- Drive to hit and exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Engage new customers and build immediate and lasting rapport.
- Share brand partnerships, product design inspirations, and reasons for being (storyteller mindset).
- Stay current on fashion trends and communicate selections that meet customer needs.
- Independently solve customer issues while maintaining a spirit of Aloha, even in high‑stress situations.
- Maintain visual standards and store cleanliness.
- Assist with back‑of‑house duties including receiving, processing product, and re‑stocking.
- Use POS best practices to create a seamless consumer experience.
- Act as a brand ambassador; participate in local events and give‑back programs.

- Minimum of 6 months retail, hospitality, or customer‑service experience preferred but not required.
- Available for a minimum of 3–8 hour shifts per week.
- Available for holidays and weekends as necessary.
- Must be 17 years or older; GED or high‑school diploma preferred or in progress.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Independent work ethic with excellent time‑management and organizational abilities.
- Positive attitude and high integrity.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, or moving objects up to 30 lbs.
