We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented Luxury Stylist Assistant to support our Styling team with client appointments, wardrobe preparation, merchandise coordination, and day‑to‑day administrative needs.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about luxury fashion, thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment, and approaches every responsibility with a client‑first mindset.
What You’ll DoSupport the Client Experience
- Assist Stylists in preparing for and executing client appointments, fittings, and styling sessions.
- Create a welcoming, polished, and personalized experience for every client.
- Maintain organized and beautifully presented fitting rooms and styling areas.
- Anticipate the needs of Stylists and clients throughout appointments.
Prepare and Coordinate Merchandise
- Pre‑pull looks and curate wardrobe options based on client preferences, sizing, lifestyle, and seasonal trends.
- Check inventory availability and assist with merchandise transfers and special requests.
- Return, organize, and properly maintain merchandise following appointments.
- Support the presentation and organization of products throughout the store.
Provide Styling and Administrative Support
- Assist Stylists with appointment preparation, follow‑up, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate client, product, and appointment information within applicable retail systems.
- Help coordinate communication between Stylists, clients, and internal departments.
- Support additional projects and responsibilities based on business needs.
Develop Product and Brand Knowledge
- Build a strong understanding of current fashion trends, designer collections, and store merchandise.
- Stay informed about new arrivals, product features, sizing, and availability.
- Represent Marissa Collections with professionalism, discretion, and an elevated level of service.
- Previous experience in fashion retail, luxury retail, hospitality, or high‑touch customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining composed and professional.
- A proactive, service‑oriented approach and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
- Comfort using technology, clienteling platforms, and retail systems.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and peak retail periods.
- Familiarity with luxury retail point‑of‑sale systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using inventory systems to check product availability, request transfers, and manage merchandise.
- Familiarity with clienteling, scheduling, or customer relationship management tools.
This is a full‑time, hourly position starting at $20.00 per hour + 3 % commission on individual sales. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal well‑being, including:
