Outside Food Sales Representative (Naples/Fort. Meyers, FL)

• Manage overall sales and relationship efforts for existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory, including pursuing new clients and deepening existing relationships.
• Research industry and market trends, identify prospective customers, and develop sales strategies that highlight products, services, values, and solutions offered by Gordon Food Service.
• Visit all customers in the territory on a schedule that may be weekly, bi‑weekly, or monthly; conduct business reviews; provide training on product offerings; and identify opportunities for growth.
• Balance new customer acquisition with deepening existing relationships, coordinate visits, and communicate order status and processing updates to customers.

• Complete e‑learning, classroom sessions, video role‑plays, job shadowing, and peer mentorship.
• Learn systems, processes, and tools for managing customer relationships and product offerings.
• Acquire the sales process for engaging new customers and best practices for developing relationships.
• Advance territory management skills.

• High School Diploma or GED (required). Bachelor’s degree or culinary certificate preferred.
• Minimum one year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
