Weekend Event Marketing Representative

Hourly + Bonuses + Expense Reimbursement Shelf Genie of South Florida is hiring dependable, outgoing Brand Ambassadors to represent us at home shows, community expos, and local events.

This is a steady weekend opportunity for someone who enjoys talking with homeowners, staying active, and earning consistent income while working in a professional, supportive environment.

Our goal at every event is simple: start friendly conversations and schedule free in‑home design consultations for homeowners interested in improving their storage and organization.

This is NOT a hard sales role — your focus is conversation and appointment setting.

• $20/hour (1099 contractor)
• Bonus tied to quality results
• Typical events run 2–3 days per weekend
• 4-8 hour shifts
• Consistent event opportunities available

• Must be available for ongoing weekend work
• Must be willing to travel to events up to 2 hours away
• Events range from 1-3 days per weekend
• Schedule provided in advance

We are specifically seeking candidates looking for consistent weekend work, not short‑term gigs.

• Represent Shelf Genie at home shows and community events
• Engage homeowners within seconds to start friendly conversations
• Demonstrate our pullout storage solutions using a demo kit
• Briefly explain how our design consultations work
• Schedule free in‑home appointments
• Setup and breakdown booth display

• Dependable and punctual for scheduled events
• Comfortable talking with many new people throughout the day
• Positive, energetic, and professional in public settings
• Someone who is confident without being pushy
• Able to work independently while representing the brand
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Has reliable transportation to event locations
• Interested in pay based on their performance

We’re looking for individuals who would rather have a genuine 1‑minute conversation than deliver a perfect sales pitch. Previous brand ambassador, retail, hospitality, soft‑sales, or event experience is helpful but not required. We train reliable candidates with strong people skills.
